On every Tuesday except the last of each month, I lead a free Meditation and Contemplation hour from 6 till 7pm uk that features a significant theme from the inspirational, non-dual teachings from Jesus in A Course in Miracles.

This amazing Course was channelled by Helen Schucman in the 1960’s as a result of her decision, with William Thetford, to join in a common goal. They were Professors of Medical Psychology at Columbia University, and anything but spiritual.
Helen wrote: ‘Psychologist, conservative in theory and atheistic in belief, I was working in a prestigious and highly academic setting. And then something happened that triggered a chain of events I could never have predicted. The head of my department unexpectedly announced that he was tired of the angry and aggressive feelings our attitudes reflected, and concluded that ‘there must be a better way’. As if on cue, I agreed to help him find it’. So this is it, a miraculous book to guide us through our lives.
The Course has three parts, the Text, the Workbook and the Manual for Teachers. The Text contains the fundamental teachings, the Workbook has a specific lesson for every day of the year and the Manual deals with answers to key questions. You an obtain a copy of the Course from the Miracle Network. www.miracles.org.uk
Some beautiful lessons from the Course:
34 ‘I could see peace instead of this’
50 ‘I am sustained by the love of God’
67 ‘Love created me like itself’.
77 ‘I am entitled to miracles’
Although the language sounds religious, the Course is not a religion and has no hierarchy, rules, punishments or strictures, no notions of sin or guilt. It teaches of our oneness in God, the key practice of forgiveness, meditation and the illusory nature of the world we experience. In short it is profoundly inspiring, encouraging, enlightening and whole.
